Habanos Specialist Exclusives

Habanos Specialist Logo The Habanos Specialist programme was developed by Habanos Due south.A. effectually 2012. Special Release Cigars

Regional Edition Series

In 2005, Habanos S.A. introduced the Regional Edition (Edición Regional) programme. This series gives the distributors an almanac opportunity to commission special exclusive cigars for their region.

In the initial program, the cigars could non exist commisioned from the ten worldwide premium Global and Niche brands. Since the 2022 re-organisation of the brands, the niche brand category has been dissolved, and Cuaba and San Cristóbal de la Habana have become eligible for Regional Editions (the status of Trinidad is still unclear). Habanos Collection

In 2001, Habanos S.A. introduced the Habanos Drove (Colección Habanos) serial.

This series consists of special large format cigars packaged in numbered boîte nature boxes in the form of a book. The 2001 release contained 10 cigars, but most releases since so independent twenty cigars. The number of books released has varied from 300 to 2,000. Normally, the cigars wear the standard ring for their brand.

Reserve Series

Millennium Reserve

In Feb 1999, Habanos S.A. released the Millennium Reserve (Reserva del Milenio) series to commemorate the Millennium.

The cigars were packaged in ceramic jars of 25 cigars, with special "Millennium 2000" bands. This serial involved 10,000 Cohiba jars, x,000 Montecristo jars, and four,000 Cuaba jars; a total of 24,000 jars.  The initial release was approximately 17,000 jars, with the balance released in 2002.

Aged Habanos Series

In 2011 Habanos SA released select range of aged regular production cigars including Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de Dieux in 50s, El Rey del Mundo, and Vegas Robaina. The cigars were anile more than than 5 years (upwards to 10 years) and were identified by the addition of a special Añejados ring, an internal notice, and a Revisado postage stamp on the base of the box.
